Walking in the Schwarzwald, one is greeted around every corner with amazing vistas. Here, the trail starts to go upwards on the way to the highest peak in the Schwarzwald, known as the Feldberg (1,493 m).
I love the symmetry in this shot, so I only had to tweak things a little to get it just right. I’ve tried to accentuate the colours a little too, but tried not to overdo it. Lastly, I erased a problematic tree.

You certainly take a good photo and what we find interesting is the way that they can be altered to improve what one actually sees, if something is in the way (like the troublesome tree) just get rid!! We suppose that being able to change the colouring in a photo saves a lot of time where one could be waiting ages to get the correct light or shade, for example in the sky or water etc, clever. Keep clicking away Michael.

Thanks! That’s the power of modern editing software, like Adobe Photoshop. You can do in seconds what might have taken hours with traditional dark room processing (or might not have been possible at all).
